Axpo Italia SpA, is a subsidiary of the Swiss Group Axpo AG and one of the main national players operating in energy trading, sales of electric power, natural gas and issuing of energy certificates and quotas. Axpo Italia is accredited by the Italian Power Exchange (Ipex) and the Derivatives Exchange (Idex).

We are looking for an IT Application Analyst interested to join our Information & Communication

Technology department located in Genoa.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of software automation process for energy trading market
• Expanding our libraries to handle new products and meet new requirements
• Support the demand process for trading, portfolio and risk management
• Support the design of enterprise distributed architectures in the Azure cloud environment;
• Active co-operation with Trading, Portfolio Management and Risk Management & Valuation team
• Contacts with suppliers and others software developers.

• Degree in scientific field
• At least 4 years of experience as developer in a primary company
• Programming skills: excellent knowledge of at least three among MatLab, C/C++ , C#, Java, Python, Html+Javascript
• Advanced knowledge of SQL (t-sql and pl-sql)
• Good knowledge of Azure Platform
• High analytical and excellent communication skills are essential in Italian as well as in English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to learn quickly and solve problems efficiently
• Ability to manage small and medium project of software lifecycle
• Background in energy trading business process is appreciated
